The Design District is changing the name of the game in the world of fashion, especially here in Miami. Louis Vuitton was one of the first to recognize the culture of this area with the opening of a temporary store back in 2012. Who could forget the colorful façade commissioned to famous L.A. graffiti artist, RETNA? The moment has arrived and now Louis Vuitton‘s New Maison set flag in what has become a new luxury shopping destination in South Florida.
From the moment you step into this extraordinary space, it is impossible not to be reminded of the grandeur of the Miami Beach Art Deco era. This time, the veneer of the boutique is a large scale of Louis Vuitton‘s classic Damier pattern constructed in aluminum panels by japanese architects Jun Aoki and Mirei Uchibe.
For summer, a limited-edition art-inspired travel capsule collection will be exclusively available here. As of now, designs from women’s ready-to-wear Spring/Summer 2015 collection curated by Nicolas Ghesquière himself are on display, as well as leather-goods, watches, shoes, accessories and fine jewelry.
