The U.S. as a new luxury shopping destination and it is called Miami Design District (sorry Rodeo Drive and Fifth Avenue!). The fashion pack of the city proved its VIP status attending one of the most sought-after store openings in recent weeks: Miu Miu.
Strategically located in the corner of NE 2nd Ave. and NE 39th St., the almost 5,500 sq ft space was designed by architect Roberto Baciocchi. Sleek and modernity converge in this two-story fashion sanctuary dedicated to ready-to-wear, accessories, bags and footwear. The stunning and shimmering façade decorated with black marble and light boxes evokes the ground-breaking style of Miucca Prada’ second brand. The luminous interior has black marble floors with central glass counters. And the lounge areas have inviting velvet mohair seating. In a word: divine.
